At the April 27 meeting Vice President Ryan Despain distributed a proposed Portrait of a Graduate timeline and list of phases for the district. Board members agreed to create a Steering Committee that will include other stakeholders, complete the first phase in time for Back-to-School Night, and aim to finish the Portrait of a Graduate project by August 2027.
Members also discussed how the steering group will engage community members and identified a schedule of deliverables and reporting to the full board. The board did not take a formal vote on committee membership at this meeting but set the timeline and task priorities.
