At the Feb. 23 meeting, Elementary Principal Karen Kramer presented student achievement data from the previous school year and said she was "pleased with the student’s growth and progress from the beginning of the year compared to the end of the school year." Kramer credited the math and reading curriculum for observable results among teachers and students.
Secondary Principal Jennica Beckstrom reported high-school achievement and teacher-assessment information, saying she is "seeing improvement in students, teacher clarity, and attendance." Both principals described these as positive trends and highlighted the value of continuing the current instructional approaches and supports.
Board members thanked the principals for their reports and noted plans to continue monitoring performance data in subsequent meetings.
