The Tintic School District Board voted unanimously to approve the 2026–2027 school fees at its Feb. 23 meeting. Member Jessica Nielsen moved to approve the fees and Member Lyndsay Garbett seconded; the motion carried with all members present voting unanimously.
Board members and administrators clarified that not all students will pay the maximum listed fee, which will vary by level of participation. Superintendent Greg Thornock and Principal Jennica Beckstrom said families will receive communication about fees during school registration and before activities begin. Beckstrom noted that cheer uniforms will conform to the district dress code in the upcoming school year.
The board’s action was procedural and budget-neutral at the meeting; no fee amounts were amended in public discussion. Administrators said the district will provide parents and students with details and timelines at registration and activity sign-ups.
