Capital improvement plan meeting set Aug. 27; public hearing scheduled Sept. 7

Chair (S3) said the capital improvement plan meeting is set for Aug. 27 and that John Kelly will attend the meeting with the Chair. Staff (S4) reminded the group that a public hearing is required and that the draft schedule lists Sept. 7 as the public hearing date.
Members noted that statutory hearing dates drive when public notices must be posted and how that affects downstream budget timing. The committee agreed to complete the CIP meeting and then ensure statutory posting and hearing requirements are met in the published calendar.
