Commissioner Robert Harrison moved, and Commissioner Jim Curran seconded, the appointment of Robert W. Byers and Kenneth W. Flowers to the Workforce Development Board to complete unfilled terms; the board approved the appointments and the terms for both were recorded to expire Dec. 31, 2028.
Separately under Other Business, Chairperson R. McKinley Elliott appointed Commissioner Sharon Tyler to replace Commissioner David Vollrath on the Public Works Board for the remainder of the appointment term. No vote was recorded for the chair'level appointment; it was announced by the chair during the meeting.
