Tabor board approves monthly pay increases for chair, trustees and staff

The Tabor Board voted Jan. 7 to raise elected-official stipends and several staff and contractor rates. The approved changes set the board chairperson’s stipend at $150 per month and trustees at $125 per month; the finance office annual salary was raised from $20,400 to $21,012.
The minutes also record hourly increases: a street position moved from $60,573.76 to $62,400 yearly equivalent, part-time general help from $16.10 to $16.60 per hour, snow removal pay from $19.25 to $20.00 per hour, EMT pay to $70 per call, first-responder pay to $60 and EVOC pay to $50. The motion to adopt the salary schedule passed by motion (Carda/Bares).
Board members said the adjustments align pay with anticipated budget planning for 2026 and were adopted as part of new-business motions at the Jan. 7 meeting.
