Deed restriction for mobile-station parcel under review; BIA offered to hold restriction

The CBC vice chair updated the committee on a deed restriction for the mobile-station parcel that was required because Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds were used to acquire open space there. He said the deed restriction contains amendments that the town attorney is reviewing and that the Bridgewater Improvement Association has been offered as the holder of the restriction. He described the work as ongoing and said officers of the CPC and committee chairs will receive a briefing on the interior assessment and deed-restriction details at a special meeting scheduled for mid-August.
Committee members asked clarifying questions about the scope of the restriction and who would receive the final briefing; the vice chair said the briefing will go to the CPC officers and that open-meeting law allows committee members to attend informational events without posting a meeting so long as they do not discuss council business there.
