Tabor buys $9,900 mower, approves donation and notes maintenance work; election and vacancy dates set

During maintenance reports the Board noted hydrants were flushed, streets swept and a tree pile burned (to be removed Jan. 28–30), and that the town had not received a response from McGuire Iron regarding water-tower cleaning. The Board accepted a mower estimate from Schuurmans Farm and approved purchase of a mower for $9,900 (motion Carda, second Hall).
In new business the Board approved payment of half of the Cimpl Park water shutoff fee ($53.10) and voted to donate $200 to BH After Prom. The lawyer reported that paperwork to vacate an alley near St. Wenceslaus had been presented but lacked full documentation and was tabled; a special meeting was set for Dec. 29 to close the books. The Board also voted to hold the municipal election on June 2, 2026. The minutes include a public notice of a trustee vacancy with petition circulation beginning Feb. 2, 2026 and a filing deadline of March 24, 2026.
