Representatives Sally McDonald and Karen Hardy told the Council the recent pickleball tournament "went very well" and that they intend to donate $6,000 to the Village to be used to repair the pickleball courts in the spring. The minutes note that no check was presented at the meeting.
McDonald and Hardy also asked to schedule next year’s tournament for the weekend before Labor Day because the following weekend falls on a Jewish holiday. President Tim McCarthy said he would not vote on the tournament date at this meeting, preferring to wait until all five Council members can participate.
The minutes record the pledge and scheduling request; no formal acceptance or deposit of funds is recorded.
