Dump inspection recommendations and maintenance actions approved by Tabor trustees

Maintenance staff reported results from a recent dump inspection and recommended two actions: construct a berm on the south side using composite material and avoid using laminated lumber on the dump site. The board recorded the recommendations and will address them in maintenance planning.
The board also approved operational items: Team Lab will inspect lagoon sludge in spring; trustees granted a sunshade request for the mower; and the board approved Dakota Pump (Mitchell) to inspect the lift station following concerns about gaps in the lift station building walls. Brosz Engineer declined assistance on street/chip sealing and the McGuire Iron contract for tank inspection was tabled pending further review.
