Tabor board requests water-pressure study, schedules lift station inspection

The Tabor Board on Feb. 3 authorized SPN to contact Stockwell Engineers to perform a water study aimed at addressing increased pressure coming into town. The motion was made by Ken Carda and seconded by Brian Neumayer and recorded as carried.
Board members also addressed water and sewer infrastructure maintenance: a McGuire Iron contract for water tank inspection was tabled for further review, Team Lab will inspect lagoon sludge in spring, and the board approved authorization for Dakota Pump (Mitchell) to inspect the lift station. Financial entries in the minutes show SRF activity, including a US Bank SRF payment of $10,274.68 recorded under water expenses.
The board noted gaps in the lift station building walls and instructed staff to follow up with pictures and contractor contacts.
