Selectboard approves warrants, minutes and six driveway access permits

The Winhall Selectboard approved routine business at its Aug. 20 meeting, including the minutes of Aug. 6 and warrant 8/20/25. Julie Isaacs moved to approve the minutes; Stacy Eddy-Gordon seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The warrant was approved on a motion by Isaacs and seconded by Elizabeth Grant.
The board reviewed and approved six access permits: James Watson (28 Burnt Hill Road, 18" culvert required), Pluto LLC (Sly Road, no culvert), Jason Siemer (69 Sugarbush Road, no culvert), Daniel Peek (73 Ravenwood Road, no culvert; temporary road to be removed when driveway work finishes), David Powers (15 Nearing Road, 18" culvert required) and Tina Johnson (38 Beaver St, 18" culvert required). Julie Isaacs moved to approve permits 1–6 and Bill Schwartz seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The meeting also included an executive session for employee feedback from 5:48 p.m. to 6:35 p.m.; no public decisions were recorded. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. on a motion by William Schwartz, seconded by Julie Isaacs.
