The Winhall Select Board unanimously approved a $95,000 change order to a fire truck already on order during its Oct. 1 meeting. Chair Stuart Coleman introduced the change order and the Board approved the measure on a motion by Stacy Eddy-Gordon, seconded by Elizabeth Grant.
Board members noted the Fire Department will contribute $15,000 toward the change order with the town responsible for the remaining balance. The Board discussed the trade-in value of the outgoing vehicle and said the old apparatus may be sold at auction. The motion passed unanimously.
