At the Sept. 26 meeting, Chair Jeff Wickersham reported on his attendance at the recent WSSDA General Assembly and asked board members to review a list of 135 legislative priorities and submit a prioritized list of 10 items they want WSSDA to advocate for in 2025.
Superintendent Ingrid Colvard cautioned board members to read the full text of each priority rather than rely on summaries, and said she usually focuses on special education, transportation and MSOCs when reviewing the list.
