The Stevenson-Carson School District Board of Directors voted on Sept. 26 to approve the purchase of a special-education bus equipped with restraints to serve students with specialized transportation needs.
Board members noted the district currently has only one special-education bus with restraints and that the newly ordered vehicle will take approximately one year to be delivered. The motion to approve the bus purchase was made by Vice Chair Jon Paul Anderson and seconded by Lisa Birney; the motion carried.
