Arrowhead West asks Pratt County for a 2% budget increase amid rising costs

Andrea Pol, vice president of client services for Arrowhead West, gave the commission an update on services and staffing and asked for county budget consideration.
Pol said Arrowhead West continues to operate day and residential programs in Pratt and serves about 30 people in day and residential services at a given time, with roughly 30–32 staff. She said ITS services expanded with an additional licensed professional this year and that rising expenses have led the organization to request a 2% increase in its county allocation — from $90,600 to $92,400.
"We are experiencing a lot of increases in just overall expenses," Pol said, describing staff and operating-cost pressures and thanking the commission for prior support. Commissioners acknowledged county budget constraints and said county finance staff would review departmental requests during upcoming budget work.
No formal appropriation or vote on Arrowhead West's request occurred at the meeting; commissioners noted they had not finalized the county budget and would consider the request during budget review.
