Commissioners approve final plats for Bighorn L&R Ranch and Golden Reward Mining
Summary
The board declared the Bighorn L&R Ranch final plat and Golden Reward Mining preliminary and final plats meet subdivision ordinance exemption criteria and approved both plats on Planning & Zoning recommendation.
Planning & Zoning Administrator Amber Vogt presented staff reports for two plat actions. The commission declared the final plat for Bighorn L&R Ranch (Tracts 1–3, T3N R1E, BHM) meets exemption criteria under Chapter 4, Article 3 of the subdivision ordinance and approved the final plat based on the Planning & Zoning Commission’s recommendation.
The board also declared that the preliminary and final plat for Golden Reward Mining Company (PMP Tract, Section 6, T4N R3E, BHM, vicinity Terry Gulch Road) meet the same exemption criteria and approved the plats on P&Z recommendation. Valerie Jagim of the USFS was present on the Bighorn L&R Ranch item to answer questions about access and easement location during future platting.
