Selectboard signs Homestead Landscaping contract to plant and maintain entrance perennials

The Winhall Selectboard reviewed and signed a contract with Homestead Landscaping on July 16 to install and maintain perennial plantings at the town entrance signs on routes from Peru, Rawsonville and Manchester.
Julie Isaacs moved to approve the contract and Stacy Eddy‑Gordon seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Board members agreed the entrance sign on the Stratton Mountain access road is in an unsafe or unmanageable location and should be moved when replacement is required. The town administrator and WPC chair worked with the Windham Regional Commission on the application and landscaping plan.
