The Village Council voted unanimously Sept. 5 to accept updated Planning Commission bylaws that included two minor revisions from Village Attorney Sara Senica.
"I move to accept the updated Planning Commission bylaws as approved with the two changes made by the Village Attorney," President Tim McCarthy said; the motion was seconded by Mike Botelho and approved unanimously. Planning Commission chair Mike Botelho earlier told the Council that a draft of the new Master Plan is expected by the end of September and that Council review and comment will follow, with target approval in March 2026.
Council members were asked to funnel questions or comments on the draft Master Plan through Chair Botelho. No substantive bylaw changes beyond the attorney edits were reported; the vote sends the bylaws back to the Planning Commission as finalized for Council oversight.
