County approves one-year extension to LiUNA Local 737 collective bargaining agreement

Eckhardt-Doupe said the parties reached a one-year agreement and that negotiated revisions were incorporated into the main agreement so fewer addenda will be needed when negotiations resume next year.
Commissioner Martin moved to approve the collective bargaining agreement; Commissioner Smith seconded. The roll call recorded Commissioner Gary L. Richardson voting yes, Commissioner Colene M. Martin yes, and Commissioner Ron A. Smith yes. The motion carried 3-0 and the Board authorized execution of the agreement.
