The Selectboard authorized the Town Administrator to mail postcards to all Winhall residents and taxpayers to 1) gauge interest in forming an advisory Public Safety Facility Committee and 2) notify short-term rental owners to begin preparing licensing documentation required by state and local rules. The motion passed unanimously.
The outreach is intended as preliminary community engagement; one board member also noted the town will provide information to short-term rental owners about preparing for required licensing and documentation.
