Town staff reported progress on short-term rental (STR) licensing and public outreach at the July 2 Selectboard meeting. The STR Administrator is working with GovOS to build a licensing website, and a postcard was prepared for the voter list and all homeowners and residents advising those who rent short-term to begin collecting required data.
On the same mailing, the town will invite residents to join a Public Safety Facility Committee to serve in an advisory capacity while the town assesses needs for a public-safety facility. The minutes record these outreach plans but do not include a timeline for the start of committee meetings or details of committee membership criteria.
