Commissioners approve Wright Story Walk grant, CJSB grant submission and hiring agreement

The Board approved a set of grant- and contract-related items on March 4. Commissioner Jerry Means moved and Commissioner Scott Clem seconded approval of a contract with Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources permitting Campbell County Public Library Systems to expend $10,000 in Semiquincentennial Grant Program funds for the Wright Story Walk Project for March 4–June 30, 2026; vote was unanimous.
Commissioner Means also moved and Commissioner Clem seconded approval for submission of a Community Juvenile Services Board (CJSB) grant application totaling $398,191.75 for the July 1, 2026–June 30, 2028 grant period; that motion likewise passed unanimously. Separately, the board approved an agreement for Direct Hire Placement Services between Crawford Thomas LLC and Children's Developmental Services of Campbell County to support staffing needs.
These approvals authorize the library project to proceed under grant funds, allow county staff to submit and pursue the juvenile services grant, and permit Children's Developmental Services to use direct-hire placement services as contracted.
