After a brief public hearing and committee presentation, Kendall County’s Commissioners Court voted unanimously to accept the Prop A committee’s recommendation to purchase a conservation easement on 10 acres at 123 Cravey Road in Boerne owned by Shirley and Dean Harmison.
The committee reported the Harmisons purchased adjoining acreage intended to be included under the same easement terms previously approved for adjacent property. The county’s motion authorized expenditure of Proposition A funds to pay $1,000 per acre for the 10-acre addition, with no separate transaction costs, consistent with earlier Prop A commitments. No members of the public spoke against the purchase during the hearing; the vote to accept the committee recommendation carried 5–0.
