Administrative Assistant Kristie Dube presented a set of yield-tax and reimbursement items. Board Member Bernie Rideout moved to approve the yield tax levy for 180 Tower Hill Road; Board Member Bill Hodgeman seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved certification of yield taxes for Operation #26-219-02-T and approved the town’s 2026 Application for Reimbursement for municipalities hosting federal and state forest land (including Bear Mountain State Forest, Pisgah State Park and Wantastiquet Mountain Natural Area).
The board signed open-container/alcohol permits for the Millstream Community Center for July 20, 2026 and August 18, 2026. Chief Evans presented a $2,500 donation from Phantom Fireworks to the town’s fire responders; the board accepted the donation by unanimous vote. Town Clerk Julie Seymour presented a warrant for unlicensed dogs: the report showed 190 unlicensed dogs originally, falling to 167 after outreach; the Select Board approved the warrant.
An abatement of certified charge and interest in the amount of $52.16 for 662 Brattleboro Road was approved after presentation by the Town Clerk. The meeting’s nonpublic personnel session was conducted under RSA 91-A:3, II (a); the board returned to public session and adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
