The Commissioners Court approved a vendor request for TNT Fireworks Weatherford to operate during the Diwali selling season from Oct. 13 through Oct. 21, 2025. The vendor representative thanked the court for the prior year's permission and reported that families from across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including Argyle, Justin and Southlake, attended last year.
"For the first time ever in this area, those families were able to come in and get what they needed to enjoy their holiday," the representative said, asking for permission to operate an eight-day season. The court voted to approve the request during the Sept. 8 meeting.
