Fire Chief Mike Moyer presented an agreement to contract with the Teton County, Idaho Fire Protection District for fire protection, emergency medical services, and ambulance services on the county’s west-side lands adjacent to Idaho. The board approved an initial Teton County payment of $580,000 to be made Oct. 1, 2026, with each subsequent year increasing by $20,000 and culminating in $660,000 on Oct. 1, 2030.
Chief Moyer answered questions from the board prior to the vote; the board approved the agreement unanimously. The minutes record the payment schedule and the intergovernmental nature of the arrangement.
