Jackson and Teton County approve transit funding deal with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for START service

On behalf of the County, Commissioner Wes Gardner moved to approve and Chair Mark Newcomb called the county vote; that motion also carried with all in favor.
The motion recorded no abstentions or negative votes. The councils took the action as a formal motion and vote at the joint meeting on March 9, 2026. The item was presented as a funding agreement between the Town of Jackson, Teton County and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to support START service.
