The Select Board voted to approve Wage Warrant #47 ($4,860.50) and to pay several invoices, including CMP and an MMA property-insurance premium that the board said will save roughly $8,000 annually. Brian Mills moved and the board carried the payments after some discussion about paperwork and processing.
Board members also debated the town's cell-phone stipend policy and whether a usage log is required. Justin Thacker said a log would accompany stipend requests, and the board moved to pay the Town Clerk a $30 monthly stipend provided the cell-phone policy is amended to require a documented log of town-business hours. Chair Brian Mills said he did not sign an earlier reimbursement because the policy language was unclear: "The policy is not clear on whether or not we require the log to be filled out." The motion to approve the stipend and amend policy language carried.
