Becky Chapin, the countys Human Resources representative, asked the board to approve a two-year agreement with NYHART to provide actuarial certifications for the countys self-insured health plan for fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
"We had a contract with NYHART to perform these services that expired after fiscal year 25 reporting requirements. So I'm here today to ask for a motion to approve a new 2 year agreement with Nihart to provide 5 0 9 a actuarial certifications for fiscal years 26 and '27 in the amount of $3,100 including authorizing the chair to sign the agreements," Chapin said. A supervisor moved, a second was offered, and Chair Don Swicker called the voice vote. After "Aye" responses, the chair stated the motion carries.
The board approved the two-year agreement and authorized the chair to sign the contract. Chapin confirmed no further items were pending from her office.
