Officials eye Moose Plate grant to repair Hinsdale town-hall doors

Treasurer reported that Moose Plate staff told town officials Moose Plate offers up to $20,000 for eligible preservation projects and that Henderson's previous application from the late 1990s makes the town eligible to apply. The Treasurer said a Moose Plate representative will visit Hinsdale to discuss options for a new town-hall door, a community-development door and an awning.
Board members welcomed the finding and noted the proposed scope should fit within the Moose Plate maximum; Treasurer said the town will pursue the application and host the visitor to review the project specifics.
