The Hinsdale Select Board accepted Discount Oil's low bid for the town's winter fuel supply. The Treasurer said the bid rate was about "$3.319" per gallon and estimated the municipal total at roughly "$53,000," with a department-by-department charge to be finalized after the Treasurer obtains fuel credits.
The Treasurer also said the Historical Society will purchase 800 gallons (paying $800) through the town arrangement and that the town will pursue credits with Discount Oil before finalizing department charges. Board members voted in favor of accepting the bid.
