Porter board approves consent agenda, adopts meeting calendar and budget amendment

The Town of Porter Board unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Dec. 4 meeting, accepting the previous meeting minutes, purchase orders and payroll purchase orders after a motion by Norma Meyer, seconded by Kevin Walker. The vote was recorded as yes from Ryan Moore, Steve Dickey, Norma Meyer and Kevin Walker; none voted no.
Separately, the board voted to adopt an updated open records request form for Oklahoma cities and towns and approved the 2025–2026 budget amendment #2. Norma Meyer moved both motions; Ryan Moore seconded the motions and each carried with the same unanimous four-member vote. The Board also approved the calendar of meetings for 2026: meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month except January and October, when they will meet on the second Thursday.
