The Town of Porter Board of Trustees discussed a proposed Consolidated Communications project on Nov. 18 to build buried fiber for Google from Pryor, Okla., to Muskogee, Okla., that would pass through the town along 413th East Ave between E. 191st Street and E. Derby Avenue. Mayor Steve Dickey said the Board needs additional information before acting.
Mayor Steve Dickey said, "The Board members need to talk to the Town attorney concerning this matter." Board members agreed they lacked sufficient details and took no formal action, asking staff to return with more information at a future meeting.
