Local dance-school owner urges Johns Creek to build a theater

Fleetwood Dukes said four of five recent Nutcracker performances at the Eagle Theater in Sugar Hill sold out and argued a local theater would expand outreach opportunities, allow arts groups to collaborate locally with the Johns Creek Symphony and other nonprofits, and strengthen the city's cultural offerings. She urged the council to prioritize arts and culture to prevent another jurisdiction from seizing development opportunities.
