RPAC approves November minutes as amended; members urged to volunteer for Lunar New Year

The Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee voted to approve the Nov. 20 meeting minutes as amended to record that the committee supported the MOU while asking staff to revisit Alpharetta about including football in the agreement. A motion to accept the minutes as amended was moved and the committee approved the amendment by voice/hand vote.
Chair circulated a volunteer sign-up and encouraged members to help staff with events next year; Chair referenced a volunteer opportunity circulated by Cara and emphasized the committee’s role in supporting event staffing. On event size, Erica said that last year’s Lunar New Year drew about 7,000 people and that it is a day-long program—an item for which committee volunteer participation was requested. "If everyone could just sign it, that'll be fantastic," the Chair said when asking members to add their names to the card.
Separately, committee members requested a rental-income report (quarterly or annual) to track field rental activity with expanding park capacity; staff agreed to assemble that report beginning in January so the committee can see the data going forward.
