Commission approves probate, administrator resignations, personnel hires and property tax exonerations

Fiduciary Supervisor Will Lorensen presented two estate matters. The Commission probated a copy of the will for Lewis Ray Sponaugle (the original was not located) to allow Kimberly R. White to qualify as personal representative; the motion to probate the copy in solemn form carried unanimously. In the Delia Hall estate, Lorensen described successor disputes and a private agreement that allowed Ms. Benjamin to serve as sole administrator; the Commission approved formal resignations from the two other co-administrators, who attested they had not accessed estate assets.

Under personnel and assessor items included on the consent agenda, the minutes record multiple hiring recommendations and status changes read by President Gochenour (including Allan Bray as Home Confinement Officer at $48,885; Samira Veatriz Flores as Fiduciary Coordinator at $43,135; multiple Call Taker Trainees at $48,674; and others), plus two retirement notices. Assessor Larry Hess presented twelve personal-property tax exonerations due to taxpayer error totaling $3,735.50 and 32 due to office error totaling $7,389.97; motions to approve these exonerations and two property-consolidation applications carried unanimously.
