Mayor Roy Schulz reported the city is working to install equipment to provide remote access for interpreters at council meetings. After scheduling discussion, Councilmember Mike Hale suggested canceling the second March meeting and Councilmember Dave Tysz moved to set the next regular meeting for April 6; Councilmember Reid Smith seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
The decision means the council will meet next on April 6; staff will continue work on remote-access equipment in the interim and present any updates at that meeting.
