Chris Moore presented Ordinance FCO 2025-24, describing the first update to the county stormwater ordinance since 2007. Moore said the proposed changes would bring agricultural properties into parity with residential properties and increase the annual user fee from $39 to $45 per year.
The council moved to take no action (the motion was moved by Denise Konkle and seconded by Matt Millies) and approved that motion unanimously. Mr. Moore asked the council attorney to prepare a letter stating the council had reviewed the ordinance; the council requested an acknowledgement rather than immediate formal action. The Commissioners had already approved the ordinance and were forwarding it for council review, per the transcript.
