Tekoa continues lease talks with golf-course operator; council debates rent and water payment

CM Ausmus moved to raise the lease to $1,200 and require potable-water payment; the motion received no second and therefore did not proceed.
Councilmembers discussed the city's liability insurance and asked staff (Browning) to bring the policy for review at a future meeting. The council left final lease terms to continue at negotiations rather than adopt a new rate at the March 9 session.
