The committee also authorized Public Health, in conjunction with the Purchasing Director, to solicit bids for preschool transportation services.
Matt Marmor requested both actions; the motion to authorize the inter-municipal agreement was made by Nicholas D. Pelham and seconded by Deborah Shannon and passed 4-0. The motion to solicit bids was made by Mr. Pelham, seconded by Mr. Eberlin, and passed 4-0. The agreement sets a regular one-way day rate of $50 and the bidding authorization allows the county to formally seek transportation vendors for preschool services.
