Chief Registrar Martha Davenport warned the public to be cautious about third-party mailings related to voter registration, saying these mailings “are not from the Board of Elections, Board of Registrars or the Georgia Secretary of State.”
Davenport also announced administrative dates the public should note: the voter registration deadline for the November election is October 5, 2026, and absentee ballots may be requested beginning August 17 through October 23, 2026. The board entered these announcements into the minutes as official public information.
