Council adopts rules, reassigns Business and Economic Development matters and seats new member on multiple committees

The resolution also appoints Councilmember Anita Bonds as Chair Pro Tem and designates a subcommittee chaired by Councilmember Felder to handle a subset of issues.
Councilmember Parker asked for clarification whether Ms. Crawford would join the Committee on Youth Affairs; the chairman confirmed she would. With no further discussion, the council voted and approved the rules and committee membership amendment by unanimous voice vote.
The resolution distributes oversight responsibilities (for example, the Chief Financial Officer, Real Property Tax Appeals Commission, and certain regulatory boards) among several committees; specifics were read into the record during the motion. No member opposed the measure during the meeting.
