Council approves consent agenda at additional legislative meeting

Chairman Mendelsohn called an additional legislative meeting of the Council of the District of Columbia to order on Nov. 18, 2025, at 12:25 p.m. in Room 500 of the Johnny Wilson Building and asked the secretary to call the roll. After members responded to roll call, the secretary confirmed a quorum was present.
The chair placed a consent agenda before the council—described as the resolutions considered at Committee as a Whole plus one ceremonial item—and announced its approval. "The consent agenda is approved unanimously," Chairman Mendelsohn said. He told observers that the consent agenda constituted the meeting's business and that the council would conclude after that action.
Before adjourning, Chairman Mendelsohn scheduled the next legislative meeting for Dec. 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. The chair declared the meeting adjourned at 12:27 p.m.
