Census trainer: incident layers update near real time but MCE currently lacks archived incident history

During the webinar Q&A, attendees asked whether MCE provides retroactive incident data and how frequently layers update. Meredith Maxwell said, "I wish. There is currently no mechanism for archiving historical incidents," adding that archiving has been requested but is not available now.
On update cadence, Maxwell said current incident layers provide "near real time updates... supposed to be every 15 minutes." She also confirmed CRE is publicly released down to the census tract level and is not published below tract level; underlying source data (decennial blocks or ACS block groups) may be available separately but CRE itself is tract-level.
