"My hope is that dedicating this easement will allow us to move forward establishing a proper street name for clarity and accessibility," Bennett said.
Commissioners discussed maintenance and ownership (the easement would remain county property and not be a dedicated right of way) and directed staff to prepare deed and easement documents; Corey Rice said he would produce the deed of easement and coordinate any maintenance language with the district. The motion to direct staff to begin the process carried.
