Volunteers reported canvassing neighborhoods (Arbor Street, Union Street, School Street and downtown businesses) and leaving flyers in windows. Committee members proposed placing a concise message on the school's video board and using event-style parking signs and greeters to direct attendees to the rear/gym entrance.
"I will reach out and report back out," said Jen Wheeler (speaker who self-identified), volunteering to contact the Riverwoods Facebook page to spread word to multiple campuses. Members agreed a QR-code take-away would let people provide follow-up input online if they could not attend in person.
The committee also discussed leaving small handouts and a sign-up sheet at the registration table to capture attendees' contact information for follow-up.
