"What we've done to avoid having to trigger this into a public works project is Sean's staff up in Jackpot is gonna put in all the underground, and that'll pretty much eat up the 500,000 that we're donating to this project," Corey said.
A representative for Summit Edge (Kayson) described phasing plans and contingencies for expansion. Commissioners discussed bonding, winter construction constraints, and a hoped‑for spring recording of the final map. The commission approved the tentative map and acknowledged the county's $500,000 contribution drawn from COVID funds to support the developer's public improvements.
Next steps include staff third‑party review of improvement plans and recording of a final map once improvements are completed or bonded.
