At the Feb. 19 meeting the Allen County Drainage Board awarded a debrushing and restoration contract for the Maria Flaugh Drain Unit to Joe and Joe Contracting. The single bid totaled $85,188; minutes note $4,580 of the contract will be charged to the Moorman Drain Fund for cleaning that portion of the work.
Separately, ACSO requested and the board approved transfers allowing Drain Maintenance funds with negative balances to borrow from the General Drain Improvement Fund until assessments can repay them. Ron Turpin moved and Rich Beck seconded both motions; the minutes record each motion carried.
