Allen County accepted final contracts for the 2025 concrete street repair projects at Oak Grove Villas and Oak Grove Ext and for Carriage Cove, authorizing final payments to Milestone Contracts LP of $840,188.10 and $393,981.79 respectively. Highway Director Bill Hartman said the Oak Grove decrease of $43,958.18 and the Carriage Cove decrease of $40,057.75 were due to less aggregate and paving material used than estimated.
Commissioner Ronald W. Turpin moved to approve the change orders and accept the projects; Commissioner Therese M. Brown seconded and the motions carried 3-0. Both projects were presented as final settlements after field measurements and material reconciliations.
